ATHENS, Ga. – The Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic moved to a match-play format on Saturday, and the Oklahoma State women's golf team lost in a tiebreaker to Denver in the morning session and then fell to Southern California, 5-0, in the afternoon.

Thanks to wins from Linnea Johansson and Maddie McCrary, the Cowgirls tied No.2 seed Denver, 2.5-2.5, but the Pioneers advanced thanks to their margin of victory in their two wins.

The Cowgirls drew USC in the afternoon session, but were dealt a 5-0 loss by the Trojans. Johansson came closest to victory for the Cowgirls after entering the 18^th hole tied up, but USC's Tiffany Chan won the hole to take the matchup.

OSU will close out the LMCC against Dayton State in the seventh-place match at 8 a.m. Sunday.
