NORMAN, Okla. –The Oklahoma State women's golf team is looking to defend its crown in the Bedlam Cup match-play showdown against the rival Sooners on Saturday at the Jimmie Austin Golf Club in Norman.

The Cowgirls have won three of the four Bedlam Cups since the event began in 2012, including each of the last two.

OSU won in record fashion last season, besting the Sooners 13.5-2.5 at Karsten Creek. In fact, both Emma Broze and Isabella Deilert are a perfect 4-0 in match play against rival Oklahoma.

The Cowgirls have yet to face the Sooners this season, but OSU is 8-1 against other Big 12 teams in 2016-17. The veteran Cowgirl lineup is currently ranked No. 19 by Golfweek and No. 18 by Golfstat, while the Sooners come into the matchup ranked No. 21 by Golfweek and No. 23 by Golfstat.

The 36-hole event is free and open to the public.
