OSU Mourns The Loss Of Pee Wee Williams

STILLWATER, Okla. – Bob "Pee Wee" Williams, a former student manager for national championship squads in both men's basketball and football at Oklahoma A&M passed away on March 2, 2017 at the age of 92.
Born Sept. 25, 1924 in Lawton, Okla., Williams made his way to Stillwater where he worked as a student manager for the Aggies' 1945 football squad, which won the Sugar Bowl and was recognized last fall by the American Football Coaches Association of America as national champions.
Williams, who was All-American Bob Kurland's roommate in college, worked in the same capacity for A&M's 1945 and 1946 NCAA title winners on the hardwood.
After his time in Stillwater, Williams went on to standout coaching career that saw him inducted into the National High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame and the Oklahoma Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Fairview Baptist Church in Earlsboro, Okla.
