• Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will open the 2017-18 campaign on Friday at 11 a.m. when it hosts Incarnate Word inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.

• The Cowgirls are 33-11 all time in season openers and have won 11 consecutive home openers.
• OSU's last loss in an opener came on Nov. 19, 2005 against Texas State.

• UIW was picked 10th in the Southland Conference preseason poll.
• The Cardinals are led by last year's league freshman of the year Imani Robinson, who averaged 12.2 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest a season ago.

OSU vs. UIW ... The Series
• Friday's contest will mark the first meeting between the two schools.

• OSU ran its exhibition winning streak to 22 in a row, including a 9-0 mark under head coach Jim Littell.
