Cowgirls Eclipse 100-Point Mark to Handle Tigers in Exhibition Game

STILLWATER –Oklahoma State's women's basketball team used a strong first half to dominate East Central in its exhibition game, winning by a score of 110-46.

The Cowgirls opened the game with a 17-0 run, and senior Loryn Goodwin led the way with five points in the first quarter. She ended the contest with a game-high 21 points and nine rebounds.

The Cowgirls erupted for 30 points in the second quarter, including an 11-0 start to the period. Jentry Holt came off the bench and made three layups as a part of the offensive barrage.

Holt scored 12 points in 12 minutes, highlighting the Cowgirl's bench production of 43 points.

OSU limited ECU to a 22.5 percent effort from behind 3-point arc. It also limited the Tigers to a 15-for-63 performance from the field.

Senior center Kaylee Jensen scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds. Sophomore guard Areanna Combs also contributed 12 points and five rebounds.

Senior Mandy Coleman and freshman Abbie Winchester each added 11 points, while redshirt freshman Jaden Hobbs gave OSU seven double-figure scorers after added 10 points off the bench.

Playing in her first game as a Cowgirl, freshman Braxtin Miller scored six points and grabbed four rebounds.
