Former Cowgirl Johansson Wins First Pro Golf Event

ZELLWOOD, Fla. – Former Cowgirl golf All-American Linnea Johansson picked up her first professional victory after carding a 10-under 206 at the National Women's Golf Association (NWGA) Zellwood Championship.
Johansson piled up 15 birdies and rounds of 68-68-70 at the 6,034-yard par 72 course at the Zellwood Station Country Club, and took home a winner's check of $4,000.
Johansson was a 2016 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American as a junior, and was a three-time All-Big 12 and Academic All-Big 12 selection. Her 72.74 stroke average in 2016 was the second best ever by a Cowgirl.
She finished her career at OSU in the spring of 2017 with a 73.30 career stroke average, which is the fourth best in school history.
