STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State women's basketball team dropped its matchup against Kansas State, 63-43, in front of 1,957 fans inside Gallagher-Iba Arena on Saturday.

The Cowgirls fall to 12-5 (2-4, Big 12) with the loss, while the Wildcats improve to 13-4 (4-2, Big 12). The loss also drops OSU to 0-4 against top-25 ranked competition this season.

Kaylee Jensen recorded her Big 12-leading ninth double-double on Saturday as she poured in 15 points and brought down 10 rebounds during the contest. Jentry Holt and Rodrea Echols both also chipped in for the Cowgirls as they scored seven and eight points, respectively.

Jensen was the Cowgirls' anchor on the defensive end in the first half as the junior matched her season high with four blocks in the game's first 20 minutes. The junior added one more block in second half to move her past Sheila Hughes and into third place on OSU's all-time list.

With Jensen leading the pack, the Cowgirls continued to limit the Wildcats offensively early in the second half as they held K-State without a field goal for a three-minute stretch of the third quarter. OSU wasn't able to find its rhythm on the offensive end however as the Wildcats began to pull away late in the third quarter.

Oklahoma State continued to struggle shooting the basketball in the game's final frame as Kansas State sealed the 63-43 victory. The Cowgirls finished 13-of-44 (30 percent) from the field on Saturday.

The Cowgirls return to action next weekend when they travel south to Norman for the season's first Bedlam matchup against Oklahoma. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. inside the Lloyd Noble Center
