Cowboy Family Mourning The Loss Of Frank Bogert

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State family is mourning the passing of Frank Bogert, 94, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a basketball letterwinner under the legendary Mr. Henry Iba.
An All-State player from Enid, Oklahoma, Bogert arrived Oklahoma A&M to play for Mr. Iba in 1941, and saw action in 53 games during a career that straddled his military service. He was a member of the 49th Tactical Fighter Group, flying the P-38 Lightning in the Pacific theater and was awarded four bronze stars.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Jan. 11 at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.
