Underwood Hosts Cowboy Basketball Alumni Social

STILLWATER – Brad Underwood and the Oklahoma State basketball program held the first STILLwater HOME Alumni Social at Gallagher-Iba Arena on Friday night.
Nearly 100 former players, managers and coaches swapped stories and met their fellow alums from several generations of Cowboy basketball.
Representatives from the 1940's who played under Mr. Henry Iba caught up with the sons of the OSU coaching legend. Speaking of coaching legends, the guest of honor, Eddie Sutton, was even on hand to greet visitors from all eras, including several of his former players.
The event came the vision of Underwood, the first-year head coach that believes alumni are the lifeblood of his basketball program.
"This program was built on the blood, sweat and tears of the people in this room," Underwood said to the group. "We can't build this thing without you."
Underwood and the Cowboys begin the 2016-17 season on Nov. 11 against Campbell at GIA.
