History, Momentum On Side Of Cowgirl Golf Heading Into Big 12s

STILLWATER – With history and a three-event win streak on its side the Oklahoma State women's golf team is headed to the Big 12 Championship in San Antonio, Texas with lofty goals.

The Cowgirls have won eight Big 12 championships in the 19-year history of the league, which is twice as many as any other school, and more than all of the other current Big 12 members combined.

This season, OSU is the Big 12's highest ranked squad – No. 9 – and the Cowgirls have won their last three events, including a 13.5-2.5 drubbing of rival Oklahoma last weekend. Overall, Oklahoma State is 14-1 this year against Big 12 squads.
