Cowgirl Golf Opens Season With Top 10 Finish at NGRC

PALOS VERDES, Calif. – In a field of 10 top 25 squads, the Oklahoma State women's golf team finished tied for eighth at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge to open their spring season.
Kenzie Neisen shot a final round of 75 to finish the tournament tied for 25th at 4-over. She tallied three more birdies on the round, giving her a three-day total of nine.
Freshman Chih-Min Chen finished tied for 25th at 12-over following a final round 78.
Washington takes the team title with a 6-over 858 and Arizona State's Monica Vaughn was the individual medalist finishing at 4-under, shooting a 6-under 65 on the final day.
Linnea Johansson finished tied for 36th at 13-over and notched 38 pars over the three days, which was tied for the most in the tournament.
Alexis Sadeghy and Isabella Deilert both finished tied for 62nd at 22-over.
The Cowgirls will be back in action on February 21 in the All-State Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate at English Turn Country Club in New Orleans, L.A.
