PALOS VERDES, Calif. – Kenzie Neisen continued her solid play and freshmen Chih-Min Chen surged up the leaderboard during round two of the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge.

Neisen shot a 74 to follow up her opening round 73 to put her two-day total at 5-over, which puts her tied at 23rd. Neisen had four birdies in the round, bringing her tournament total to six.

Chen recorded a 1-under 70, which was tied for the second lowest round of the day and moved up 27 spots on the leaderboard. Chen sits tied for 23rd along with Neisen.

Both players sit just outside of a top 10 spot in a field that includes the top four ranked players in the country.

Lakareber Abe of Alabama leads the field by herself at 3-under following her second round of 70.

Oklahoma State remains ninth in the team standings and Washington shares the clubhouse lead with Alabama at 5-over.

Linnea Johansson posted a 4-over 75, which has her tied for 35th at 8-over.

Isabella Deilert shot an 83 and Alexis Sadeghy shot an 85. They are placed 81st and tied for 67th respectively.
