Jensen Named Big 12 Player of the Week

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State's Kaylee Jensen was named co-player of the week for the Big 12 Conference with this afternoon's announcement of the weekly women's basketball awards by the league office.
For the junior center, the recognition was the first of her career. Jensen shared the accolade with Baylor's Kalani Brown.
The Genoa, Neb., native logged her 11th career double-double in OSU's season opener on Friday against Arkansas State. Jensen led all scorers with 22 points and added a game-high 14 rebounds in the win over the Red Wolves. She nearly secured her double-double in the first quarter, finishing the period with 10 points and eight rebounds.
Additionally, she had three blocked shots and one steal. Jensen connected on eight of her 14 shots from the floor and made all six of her free-throw attempts.
She was also named the league's player of the week by College Sports Madness on Monday.
The Cowgirls will be back in action on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. when they host Tennessee State in Stillwater.
