Cash and Kadhe Advance To Back Draw Semifinals

TULSA, Okla. – Oklahoma State tennis' No. 1-ranked duo of Julian Cash and Arjun Kadhe advanced into the semifinals of the doubles back draw at the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships on Saturday.
In their quarterfinal contest, the Cowboy tandem found themselves matched up with No. 43 Hugo Di Feo and Martin Joyce of Ohio State. Facing a ranked foe for the third straight match didn't faze the nation's No. 1 duo as they were able to grind out a win over Di Feo and Joyce in a third-set super tiebreak, 3-6, 6-1, 1-0 (8).
Cash and Kadhe will look for their third win over a top-25 opponent as a tandem when they take on No. 13 Felix Corwin and Matic Spec of Minnesota in Sunday's semifinal. That match is slated to begin at 10:00 a.m.
Prior to securing a spot in tomorrow's doubles semifinals, Cash took part in his third singles contest of the week as he squared off with North Florida's No. 80-ranked Jack Findel-Hawkins in the singles back draw Round of 16. Cash put up a valiant effort, but ultimately dropped the contest with No. 80 Findel-Hawkins, 6-4, 2-6, 7-5, bringing an end to the junior's week in singles action.
Cash is currently OSU's highest-ranked singles competitor as he came in at No. 29 in the September 13 edition of the ITA Rankings. Last season, the Brighton, England native compiled 20 singles wins and earned a bid to compete in the NCAA Singles Championship during his first year at OSU.
