Kaylee Jensen Earns Preseason Honor

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State's Kaylee Jensen was honored on Wednesday with the announcement of the Big 12 Conference Preseason All-Big 12 Team by the league office.
Jensen, a junior from Genoa, Neb., received honorable mention status in a poll of the league's coaches, who are not allowed to vote for their own student-athletes. Baylor's Nina Davis and Alexis Jones as well as Seanna Johnson of Iowa State, Breanna Lewis of Kansas State and Texas' Brooke McCarty comprised the five-player squad.
Last season, Jensen was named a second-team All-Big 12 selection after finishing eighth among league players in scoring (14.6 ppg) and fourth in rebounding at 8.3 boards per game. Additionally, she was 10th in the league in field-goal percentage (50.1 percent) and fourth with her 1.8 blocked shots per contest.
The Big 12 Women's Basketball Preseason Poll will be announced on Oct. 12. A Big 12 women's basketball preview show will be televised on FOX Sports affiliates prior to the beginning of regular season games. The first airings are scheduled for Monday, Nov. 7.
