STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's Jack Easley, who currently serves as the director of player development for the Cowgirl basketball program, was inducted this past weekend into the Missouri Valley College Athletic Hall of Fame.
Easley competed for the Missouri Valley College men's basketball program from 1974-76. After lettering both seasons, he made the move to the coaching ranks, beginning his career at Slater (Mo.) High School where he led the boys program from 1977-79.
He then moved on to State Fair (Mo.) Community College where he served until 1983 before joining the OSU program for the first time. During Easley's first stint in Stillwater, the Cowgirls made seven NCAA appearances and tallied seven 20-win seasons.
After spending one season at Providence College, Easley returned to the Big 12 in 2003 as a member of the staff at Iowa State before returning to Oklahoma State in 2012. Since his return the Cowgirls have made four NCAA appearances.
