Cowboys Fall On Day Three Of Cajun Classic

LAFAYETTE, La. – Oklahoma State's Julian Cash lost his semifinals match in the consolation bracket by default at the Cajun Classic on Saturday.
Cash was coming off back-to-back wins in the singles consolation bracket, including a victory against Geraldo Lopez of TCU, 7-6, 6-4 to earn a semifinals berth. The sophomore lost his semifinals match to Arthur Libaud of Louisiana Lafayette.
The Cowboys made some noise at the tournament, as All-American Arjun Kadhe made a quarterfinals appearance after consecutive victories in the singles championship and Lucas Gerch won his first round match against TCU's Reese Stadler, which gave him a Round of 16 showing.
In the doubles championship, No. 14 Cash/Kadhe defeated Louisiana Lafayette's Vlad Kramarov/Michael Kritzinger in the Round of 16, before falling to LSU's Simeon Freund/Justin Butsch in the quarterfinals on Friday.
Oklahoma State's next tournament is the ITA All-American prequalifying tournament in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Oct. 3-11.
