Cowboys’ All-American Duo Headlines ITA Preseason Rankings

STILLWATER – All-Americans Arjun Kadhe and Julian Cash were ranked as the No. 14 doubles team in the nation in the preseason ITA Rankings released on Tuesday.
Kadhe is coming off a historical season as he finished his sophomore year with All-American doubles honors for the second-consecutive season with former Cowboy Jakob Sude. It was the first time in Oklahoma State history a doubles team received back-to-back All-American honors.
Cash, a Mississippi State transfer, had a special freshman season with the Bulldogs. The All-American was named SEC Freshman of the Week (3/11) and received 2015 Academic All-SEC honors.
The preseason singles rankings features Cowboy junior Lucas Gerch at No. 74. This is the highest singles ranking for Gerch as he started his sophomore campaign by winning 14 of his first 15 match decisions. At No. 66 was Kadhe, who received his highest ITA singles ranking as a Cowboy.
Oklahoma State will head to Lafayette, Louisiana for the Cajun Classic on Sept. 24-27. The Cowboys look to continue their winning ways in the fall season after winning the team title at the Silverado Invitational this past weekend.
