FS1 To Air Orange Bowl Classic Matchup With Gators

STILLWATER – The 22nd annual MetroPCS Orange Bowl Classic matchup between Oklahoma State and Florida on Saturday, Dec. 19 will have a national primetime audience on Fox Sports 1. Tipoff from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida is slated for 7 p.m. Central.
This will be Oklahoma State's first appearance in the Orange Bowl Classic, and the first primetime tipoff for the Classic in 11 years.
The Cowboys and Gators have combined for four national titles and 11 trips to the Final Four. The two programs last met in the Elite Eight round of the 2000 NCAA Tournament, when Florida took down OSU, 77-65. Florida won the only other meeting, 74-69, on Dec. 28, 1993 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Florida will take the court with a new head coach after Billy Donovan took over for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Michael White, who was highly successful at Louisiana Tech with 101 wins in four years, took the reins from Donovan.
The Cowboys are already slated for 21 games on the ESPN family of networks in the 2015-16 season, as well as an appearance on the Big Ten Network when they face Minnesota in Sioux Falls, S.D. on Dec. 12. Additional TV games are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
