STILLWATER – Allison Gappa of Orange Power Studios caught up with new men's basketball assistant coach Bill Grier, and got his thoughts on the Cowboys, the Big 12 and how his years as a head coach at San Diego and an assistant at Gonzaga will suit him heading into this season.
Grier boasts a resume that features nearly 25 years coaching at the Division I level, including the last eight years as the head coach at the University of San Diego. He also was the defensive coordinator at Gonzaga from 1992-2007, and helped the Bulldogs make 10 NCAA Tournament appearances.
