April 30, 2015 | Cowboy Tennis
STILLWATER -- Oklahoma State men's tennis players Jakob Sude and Arjun Kadhe have been selected to compete in this year's NCAA individual tennis championships.
This is the first time since 2008 that the Cowboys have qualified both a singles player as well as a doubles team for the NCAA Championships.
Kadhe and Sude, who went 8-10 as a team, will compete in a 32-team doubles draw. This marks the second-consecutive NCAA appearance for the pair. Last season the Cowboys made it to the semifinals and earned All-American status.
Sude will cap off his collegiate career making his first singles appearance at the tournament. The senior put together a 9-8 singles record during an exciting spring season that saw him knock off the nation's No. 1 player Soren Hess-Olesen of Texas. Sude is the first Cowboy to qualify for the singles tournament since 2010 when Oleksandr Nedovyesov was selected.
The NCAA individual championships are set for May 20-25 at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
