Five Cowboys Receive All-Big 12 Academic Honors

STILLWATER, OKLA. -- Five members of the Oklahoma State men's tennis team were named to the All-Big 12 Academic teams, it was announced Tuesday.
The No. 29-ranked Cowboys are tied for second in the conference with Texas, each having five All-Big 12 Academic honorees. Baylor leads the league with seven Bears receiving All-Big 12 Academic status.
All-American Arjun Kadhe, No. 124 Lucas Gerch, senior Nicolai Ferrigno and redshirt freshman Lukas Finzelberg received with first team honors.
Jakob Sude, the primary No. 1 for the Cowboys, received second team honors. The All-American makes his second-consecutive All-Big 12 Academic team after receiving first team honors last year.
In order to receive first team honors the athlete must have a 3.20 or above and participate in at least 60 percent of team scheduled matches. Athletes who received second team honors maintained a GPA ranging from 3.00 to 3.19.
