Junior wing Leyton Hammonds was one of OSU's most efficient three-point threats last season.
STILLWATER - With just 3.5 seconds on the second-half clock and Baylor ahead by three points, Oklahoma State needed someone to make a play. Cue Leyton Hammonds.
The sophomore stole the inbounds pass and knocked down a 3-pointer at the buzzer to send the game into overtime. That play put Hammonds on the map, and gave Cowboy fans a glimpse of why he's ready for an expanded role as a junior in 2015.

- Scored a career-high 16 points in the season opener against Southeastern Louisiana thanks to 4-of-6 shooting from 3-point.
- Became just the 17th OSU player to come off the bench and hit five or more 3-pointers when he sank a career-high five shots from deep (all in the second half) and finished with 15 points at Oklahoma.
- Hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to send the game into overtime at Baylor.
- Knocked down 16-of-48 attempts from 3-point (33.3 percent).
- Enters his junior season with a respectable career 3-point percentage of 28.9 (24-of-83).
- Twelve of his 27 rebounds came on the offensive glass.
- Finished his sophomore season with averages of 2.3 points and 1.0 rebounds per game.
- Saw action in 28 games and averaged 9.9 minutes per game.
- Earned the start in the season's first two games.
