Martin Earns All-America Honors

TAMPA, Fla. - Oklahoma State's Brittney Martin received honorable mention All-America status this weekend with the announcement of the WBCA Division I Coaches' All-America Team during the 2015 NCAA Women's Final Four Super Saturday festivities.
The 6-0 guard becomes the fifth Cowgirl to receive honorable mention All-America recognition from the organization and her selection marks the third year in a row an OSU player has achieved the feat. Two years ago, Toni Young was named to the squad, while Tiffany Bias was chosen a year ago.
Martin, who led OSU to its third consecutive NCAA Championship appearance, finished her junior campaign ranked among the Big 12's leaders in several statistical categories.
The Syracuse, Utah native ranked seventh in scoring at 13.4 points per game, second in rebounding at 8.8 boards per contest and second with her 2.6 steals per game. Martin also ranked 11th among league players with her 1.0 blocked shots per game and third in minutes played at 35.0 per outing.
A unanimous first-team All-Big 12 pick, she was also named the Big 12 Player of the Week on two occasions and was named to the league's all-defensive squad.
