Cowgirls Tee It Up In Hawaii

KANE'OHE, Hawaii - Oklahoma State's women's golf team will return to action this week when it takes part in the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational at the Kane'ohe Klipper Golf Course in Kane'ohe, Hawaii.
The Cowgirls will be one of 15 teams in action at the par-72, 6,099-yard layout. The event will get underway with 36 holes on Tuesday and will conclude with a single round on Wednesday. OSU will get its first round underway at 8 a.m. (HAST) and will be grouped with Hawaii, Montana and Osaka Gakuin.
OSU's lineup will consist of sophomores Isabella Deilert and Linnea Johansson as well as freshmen Emma Broze, Maddie McCrary and Kenzie Neisen. Freshman Alexis Sadeghy will compete at the event individually.
The Cowgirls have won the event on three occasions with their most recent victory coming in 2008. They also captured back-to-back titles in 2001 and 2002. The 2002 event also produced OSU's lone medalist at the event, Emma Zackrisson.
