Cowboy Basketball Re-Enters Associated Press Poll

STILLWATER - Following a pair of wins over ranked opponents last week, the Oklahoma State men's basketball team climbed to No. 21 in this week's Associated Press poll.
The Cowboys (16-7 overall, 6-5 Big 12) scored a thrilling 65-63 overtime win over No. 25 Texas in Austin last Wednesday before returning to Stillwater to defeat No. 8 Kansas, 67-62, on Saturday.
OSU is one of six Big 12 teams in this week's AP poll, and are joined by No. 8 Kansas, No. 14 Iowa State, No. 16 Baylor, No. 17 Oklahoma and No. 21 West Virginia (the Cowboys and Mountaineers both received 273 votes). This is the second week that the Cowboys have appeared in the AP top 25. OSU debuted at No. 24 following its win over Texas in Stillwater earlier in the season.
On the year, OSU owns two wins over teams that were ranked in the AP's top 10, four wins over teams ranked in the AP's top 25, five wins over teams with RPIs in the top 50 and eight wins over teams with RPIs in the top 100.
The Cowboys are in Waco, Texas, for tonight's game against No. 16 Baylor, who OSU beat by a 64-53 margin in Stillwater earlier in the season. The game is set for a 6 p.m. tip-off on ESPNU.
