Three Cowgirls Earn Academic Honors

IRVING, Texas - Three members of the Oklahoma State women's basketball team were among the student-athletes named to the 2015 Academic All-Big 12 Women's Basketball Team it was announced today by the league office.
Seniors LaShawn Jones and Liz Donohoe were joined by junior Rylie Swanson among the 39 total representatives from around the league.
Jones, a sociology major, and Swanson, a psychology major, were named first-team selections. Donohoe, a sociology major, was named to the second team.
First team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA while the second team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA.
To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters and must have participated in 60 percent of their team's scheduled contests.
