Cowboys Continue Play At USTA/ITA National Indoors

FLUSHING MEADOWS, N.Y. – Cowboys Arjun Kadhe and Julian Cash resumed play on Friday at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships in Flushing Meadows, New York.
After falling in the second round of the main draw yesterday, the No. 14-ranked Oklahoma State duo looked to bounce back in the consolation round against Stanford's Tom Fawcett/David Wilczynski.
The first set was a close one with the Cardinal and the Cowboys clawing for each game, but Kadhe/Cash would prevail by taking the set, 6-4
In the second, the All-American duo proved to be too much for Fawcett/Wilczynski, as the Cowboys won the set and match, 6-4, 6-2.
With the victory, Kadhe/Cash are one of the four remaining teams competing in the consolation bracket.
The Oklahoma State tandem will look to continue its success in the back draw tomorrow when they face Columbia's Michal Rolski/Mike Vermeer at 10:15 a.m. (ET).
