Cowgirls Add Four Prep Standouts

STILLWATER, Okla.— Oklahoma State's women's basketball team has signed four prep standouts to National Letters of Intent it has been announced by Cowgirl head coach Jim Littell.
Alexes Bryant, Areanna Combs, Rodrea Echols and Jaden Hobbs all cast their lot with OSU and will join the program in the fall of 2016.
Alexes Bryant · 6-3 · F · Cibolo, Texas (Steele)
· Bryant earned first-team all-district honors and was a first-team Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State pick.
· She was named an all-region selection by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches as well.
· Bryant averaged 17 points and 12 rebounds during her junior season at Steele High School.
· She was also named a second-team all-district selection as a sophomore.
Areanna Combs · 5-10 · G · Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (Putnam City West)
· She received honorable mention all-state honors from The Oklahoman as a junior after averaging 17.5 points per game.
· Combs was also named a second-team Big All-City selection.
· Was named the Oklahoma Big 10 Conference Newcomer of the Year during her junior season at Putnam City West High School.
· Combs was named a second-team all-conference selection as a sophomore at Western Heights High School.
Rodrea Echols · 5-10 · G · Memphis, Tennessee (Overton)
· Echols checks in at No. 83 on the ESPN HoopGurlz Top 100 rankings.
· She also carries a No. 21 position ranking from ESPN HoopGurlz.
· Echols averaged 13.6 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds per contest during her junior campaign.
· She averaged 12 points a game during her sophomore season at Overton.
· Echols led Overton to the TSSAA Division 1 state tournament as a freshman.
Jaden Hobbs · 5-8 · G · Alva, Oklahoma (Alva)
· In 2015, she led Alva to an undefeated season (30-0) and the Class 2A state title.
· Hobbs averaged 18.7 points and 6.9 assists per game as a junior.
· She led Alva to the Class 3A state title as a sophomore while setting a pair of tournament scoring records. Hobbs poured in 45 points in Alva's semifinal win and tallied 107 points in the squad's three tournament games.
· She averaged 22 points and 7.2 rebounds during her sophomore season.
· In nine state tournament games, Hobbs has scored 241 points, which ranks second all-time in state history.
