Cowboy Tennis Completes Tuesday Action at ITA Championships

TULSA, Okla. – Oklahoma State's men's tennis team finished Tuesday action at the ITA All-American Championships on Tuesday at the Case Tennis Center in Tulsa.
In the qualifying singles bracket, senior Jakob Sude and sophomore Arjun Kadhe each lost their second-round matches, ending their quests for the title.
Sude, ranked No. 55 in singles, suffered a 6-3, 6-2 loss to Chris Diaz of Ohio State University.
Fellow Cowboy and 82nd-ranked Kadhe dropped his match to No. 90 Rhys Johnson of Vanderbilt, 6-4, 6-2.
OSU's Lucas Gerch competed in two matches in the consolation singles bracket. Both times, the Cowboy went up against Ohio State's Kevin Metka but was not able to earn a win.
In the doubles qualifying bracket, Gerch and Nicolai Ferrigno faced the bracket's No. 1-seed Gonzales Austin and Rhys Johnson of Vanderbilt. The Cowboy duo won six games, but it was not enough as they were eliminated, 6-3, 6-3.
