ITA All-American (Pre-Qualifying)
Two Cowboys Advance at ITA All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla. – Oklahoma State's Arjun Kadhe and Jakob Sude each advanced in the qualifying singles bracket of the ITA All-American Championships on Monday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla.
Kadhe, ranked No. 82 in the nation, took on Michael Tenzer of Wisconsin-Green Bay, whom he defeated in three sets. The Cowboy dropped his first set, but battled back in the second and third sets to move on in the tournament. He is slated to compete against No. 90 Rhys Johnson of Vanderbilt on Tuesday.
No. 55 Jakob Sude also grabbed a first-round win, defeating No. 120 Felip Bergevi in straight sets. The two went to a tiebreaker in the first with Sude taking the set, 7-6(5), and finished off the match with a 6-4 victory in the second. Sude will go head-to-head with Ohio State's Chris Diaz on Tuesday.
Cowboy sophomore Lucas Gerch also competed on Monday in the qualifying bracket but suffered a first-round loss to Martin Redlicki of UCLA, 6-2, 6-3. Gerch will continue play in the consolation bracket when he takes on Kevin Metka of Ohio State.
Gerch will also compete tomorrow in doubles with fellow Cowboy Nicolai Ferrigno in the qualifying doubles bracket.
