Kadhe in Cajun Classic Semifinals

LAFAYETTE, La. – Cowboy tennis sophomore Arjun Kadhe advanced to the semifinals of singles play at the Cajun Classic on Friday.
Kadhe handily defeated Tam Trink of LSU in straight sets in Friday's quarterfinals match, 6-1, 6-3. In the semifinals, the Cowboy will go head-to-head with John Mee of Texas, who defeated OSU's Lucas Gerch in the quarterfinals, 6-3, 6-4.
The semifinals will begin at noon on Saturday.
In doubles play, both pairs fell in the first round with the Kadhe/Gerch duo suffering an 8-6 loss to Kentucky's team of Yates/Buchanan, and Nathan Roper and Nicolai Ferrigno falling to Mansouri and Ho of Wake Forest, 8-5.
