* Was named first-team NJCAA All-Region V and first-team All-Western Junior College Athletic Conference.

* Scored a season-high 28 against Connors State (Jan. 8), one of 10 20-point games during the season.
* Finished with 22 double-figure scoring games, including 12 straight to end the season.
* Recorded a career-high 10 assists (one turnover) at Central Methodist (Nov. 14) and matched it at Eastern Oklahoma State College (Feb. 25) with no turnovers.
* Had 10 games with six or more assists.
* In the game at Eastern, he also scored 24 points, giving him a double-double in points and assists.
* Grabbed a career-high nine rebounds vs Western Oklahoma State College (Nov. 29); also had 23 points and six assists.
* Had five steals vs Seminole State (Jan. 24).

* Was an All-State selection for Westlake High School in Atlanta.
* Averaged 18 points, six rebounds and five assists and three steals as a senior in 2010-11.

Personal
Born Sept. 22, 1992, Jeff is the son of Janice and Jeff Newberry. He has three older sisters: Shondra, DeJuana and Brittani. Jeff is majoring in sports management at Oklahoma State.
