STILLWATER - ESPN's popular College GameDay presented by State Farm program originates from Gallagher-Iba Arena Saturday in advance of the Oklahoma State-Kansas game later that night.
Fans are invited to come to the arena and watch the show live. Some things to know about Saturday morning's event:
Parking and admission are both free. Fans should park in the lot immediately south of Boone Pickens Stadium and should clear out of that lot by noon, as the lot becomes reserved for the women's basketball game and then the men's basketball game later that day.
Fans should enter the arena from the southeast entrance. The doors open at 7 a.m. Normal gameday arena policies are in effect.
The first 250 fans at the south entrance of the east lobby will receive a wristband for floor seating behind the set.
The east lobby of Gallagher-Iba Arena is where all of the pre-show activity will take place. Fans can enjoy free donuts, coffee, hot chocolate and water, courtesy of OSU Athletics and will have the opportunity to have fun with a fan interaction and photo booth and lounge.
The doors to the court open at 7:30 a.m. Fans should sit on the west side of the arena and should be in their seats by 8 a.m. T-shirts and other assorted spirit items will be distributed at that time.
Segments of the show will be taped starting at 8:30 a.m. and the show goes live on the air from 9-11 a.m.
The Oklahoma State women's basketball team battles Kansas State at 2 p.m. that day, with fans encouraged to attend that important late-season contest. Admission to the game is free.
Then at 8 p.m., the Cowboys and Jayhawks tangle in a battle ripe with postseason implications. Doors to the arena open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available through the Oklahoma State Athletics Ticket Office starting at $30. Visit okstate.com/tickets or call 877-ALL-4-OSU for details.
