OSU to Recognize Final Four Team

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Cowboys' most recent Final Four appearance this weekend during OSU's Bedlam matchup with the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, Feb. 15. Tipoff is set for 1 pm.
Several players from that Final Four squad will be in attendance and recognized for their accomplishments 10 years ago. Those who are planning to attend are: Tony Allen, Joey Graham, John Lucas, Ivan McFarlin and Janavor Weatherspoon.
Allen was a All-Big 12 First Team selection and co-Big 12 Player of the Year with Lucas that season. He was also named an honorable mention All-American by the Associated Press. He was the 27th overall pick of the 2004 NBA Draft by Boston, and won a World Championship with the Celtics in 2008. He is currently a member of the Memphis Grizzlies.
Graham was an All-Big 12 First Team selection and a third-team All-American in 2005. He was drafted by the Toronto Raptors with the 16th pick of the NBA Draft that year, and went on to play nearly 400 games with three different teams (Raptors, Denver Nuggets, Cleveland Cavaliers) in the NBA.
Lucas was a two-time All-Big 12 First Team selection in 2004 and '05, and was co-Big 12 Player of the Year with Allen in 2004. He has spent six season in the NBA with the Houston Rockets (2005-07), Chicago Bulls (2010-12), Toronto Raptors (2012-13) and is currently with the Utah Jazz.
McFarlin, a four-year starter for the Cowboys, was a three-time All-Big 12 Honorable Mention selection in 2003-05. After graduating from OSU, he played 11 games during the 2006-07 season with the Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA. Weatherspoon, a senior on the 2004 Final Four squad, played in all 35 games that season, starting two.
