Rylie Swanson joins the Cowgirl program after a standout sophomore campaign at NOC-Enid where she earned honorable mention All-America honors. Swanson, a native of Alva, Okla., averaged 16.7 points and 10.3 rebounds per contest while helping her squad reach the NJCAA national tournament.

Peanut Butter and Eggs. Don't knock it until you try it because it is really good. While you are cooking it you put the peanut butter in it. It is really good.

What from your time at junior college will help you at the Division I level?
“How much faster the game is. I have had more experience with how much faster the game is coming from a junior college. Coming from high school, it would probably be a lot tougher because basketball is a lot slower than junior college where it is pretty fast.”

What player is your game most like?
"Kevin Love because he can rebound, he can shoot the three. He is just an all around kind of player."
Something people would be surprised to know about you would be?
“I owned a duck once and a lizard and a rabbit. I went to the store one day with a friend because there was nothing to do, so we went and I saw the ducks and they were really cute. They were only like $2 and I wanted it and I got it. I paid $2 for a duck.”
Favorite Basketball Moment
“Last year, we won our region to go to juco nationals. We weren't supposed to win that and we won by like 15 points. That is the first thing that I have really won. That was a crazy experience.”
Do you have any pregame superstitions?
“I listen to music and don't really talk to anybody. That is about it. Last year, it was 'Happy' by Pharrell. I listened to it too much, so I don't really have a song right now. Right now, I am listening to a lot of alternative rock music.”
