Donohoe, Martin Earn Preseason Honors

Both players received honorable mention recognition from the league's head coaches, who are not allowed to vote for their own student-athletes.
Donohoe, a senior from Edmond, Okla., earned honorable mention all-league honors last season after averaging 11.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per contest. She started all 34 games while helping the Cowgirls make the third NCAA Sweet 16 appearance in school history.
A native of Syracuse, Utah, Martin earned honorable mention status as a sophomore last year. Like Donohoe, she started all 34 games and finished the season as the squad's leading rebounder at 8.7 boards per game and led the league in steals for the second year in a row.
The Big 12 Women's Basketball Preseason Poll will be announced on October 8.
