Oklahoma State vs Texas
Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014
• Oklahoma State, which leads the Big 12 Conference in steals, recorded another 13 vs Texas tonight. It marks the seventh time this season that the Cowboys have had 10 or more thefts. That total also matched the most OSU has ever recorded against the Longhorns (13 on Jan. 19, 2000).
• The Cowboys have defeated Texas four-straight times for the first time since a stretch of four-consecutive wins in 2003-04.
• OSU's 87 points matched the fourth-most ever scored against the Longhorns.
• Oklahoma State attempted 51 free throws against Texas, the 10th time in school history that the Cowboys have attempted 50 or more shots from the charity stripe and just the second time since 1998. Both occurrences since then have been against the Longhorns.
• Texas' 45 rebounds against OSU are the most given up by the Cowboys this season.
• Marcus Smart scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, marking his first double-double of the season and the third of his career.
• Markel Brown scored 27 points, his sixth 20-point game of the season and the 14th of his career.
• Oklahoma State is 46-4 (92%) when scoring at least 80 points under Travis Ford.
