As my time in Germany comes to an end, I can truly say I had an amazing time.
With all kinds of what ifs when deciding to enroll in this course and travel across the world, I have no regrets about going on this trip. I enjoyed meeting and spending time with a group of 36 students that I can now call my friends.
To end our trip, we closed with a farewell dinner, eating pork and dumplings. I spent my last day with my cousin, who is living in Germany now because of the military. I was happy to see him and did not want to leave Germany.
When it was time for me to catch my flight back to the U.S., a nine-plus hour flight to Atlanta and then another two-hour flight to the great state of Oklahoma awaited me. When I landed, I was greeted by my mom and younger brother, who met me with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a cream soda.
I'm happy to be home with them for the next few days until I go back to Stillwater to start preparing for another great season as a Cowgirl. Go Pokes!
Work hard now, relax later. God bless
Kamri
