Clark's Oklahoma All-Stars Win Faith 7 Game

Shawnee, Okla. — Jeffrey Carroll was named team Most Valuable Player, but Stephen Clark's Oklahoma All-Stars defeated the Team Texas 101-95 in the Faith 7 game at the OBU Noble Complex here Saturday night.
Carroll scored a game-high 26 points on 8-of-16 shooting from the floor, including 5-of-11 from three-point range, and 5-of-6 free throws. Teammate and future Cowboy Leyton Hammonds added 18 points along with a team-high eight rebounds.
Carroll is the first OSU player to be named team MVP at the Faith 7 game since Terrance Crawford was named Most Valuable Player of the Oklahoma squad during the 2000 contest. Earl Jones was named the MVP of the Oklahoma All-Stars in 1989 while Byron Houston received that honor in 1988.
Clark connected on just 1-of-10 shots from the field, but made 5-of-6 free throws, contributing to seven points, and also added six rebounds and two assists.
All three Cowboy freshmen who participated in the Faith 7 game are in Stillwater taking summer classes and getting a jump on their initial season in an OSU uniform.
