View From the Top

Kamri took advantage of her first independent travel day with a visit to Alter Peter.

Today was the start of our independent travel days and I made sure to take advantage of it. I'm staying in Munich and looking to do some of the things I haven't done already.

I was told the view of the city from the Alter Peter is beautiful and I had to see for myself. After climbing 306 stairs in a tight space to get to the top, I was rewarded with an amazing view.

Being on the top of the tower quickly reminded me of why I don't belong on the top of building. I definitely have a big fear of heights and falling from tall buildings. Even though there were rails along the way to keep people from falling didn't mean I was going to stay for long!

I took pictures and then made my way back down to the bottom where I feel a lot more comfortable. At least I can say I climbed to the top despite of my fear. There are some pictures of the view as proof.
