Oklahoma State senior-to-be Kamri Anderson made a trip across the pond to spend the first part of her summer studying abroad in Germany. She is going to share her journey with us periodically on okstate.com. Below is her first installment.
My travels to another country start now. I'm all packed and ready to go. My first flight to Atlanta, Georgia leaves at 10:44 a.m. and I will have a two-hour layover before my next flight. The layover will be spent charging my phone and watching Netflix until its time to board.
The flight was supposed to leave at 4:05 p.m., but yet we sit on the plane for two hours with the door open and nothing to do because there is a water leakage problem.
They finally fixed it and we are ready for take off at 6:30 p.m. Scheduled time of arrival for Munich was 7 a.m., but unfortunately because of the delay our new time of arrival is 9:05 a.m.
With a good book to read and dinner from my flight attendant, I'm ready for my flight. Goodbye America, I will see you soon shortly.
Work hard now, relax later. God bless,
Kamri
