Martin Earns All-America Honors

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's Brittney Martin was named to Full Court's Freshman All-America squad this past weekend, earning third-team status.
A unanimous selection to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team, Martin started all 33 of the Cowgirls' games this season, averaging 10.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, a team-high 2.9 steals and 2.7 assists per contest. Additionally, she registered three double-doubles and the program's first-ever triple-double.
Martin's 2.9 steals per game also led the league and she ranked in the top five among Big 12 freshmen in scoring (third), rebounding (second), steals (first), blocked shots (fifth) and assists (fourth).
The honor marks the second consecutive year OSU has been represented on the Full Court Freshman All-America squad. Liz Donohoe earned second-team honors in 2012.
