Cowboy Tennis Makes Debut in 2013 ITA Rankings

STILLWATER, Okla. -

Oklahoma State's men's tennis team moved into the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's national team rankings for the first time in 2013 at No. 62.

OSU (6-3) broke into the rankings after splitting a doubleheader on Feb. 23 against Florida Atlantic and Florida Gulf Coast. The No. 62 rank is the squad's highest ranking since a No. 50 spot in the Feb. 22, 2011 polls.

The national ranking makes Oklahoma State the sixth Big 12 team to be included in this week's ITA rankings, joining Oklahoma (No. 5), Texas (No. 15), Baylor (No. 26), TCU (No. 51) and Texas Tech (No. 58).

The No. 62 Oklahoma State Cowboys will return to action on Thursday when they face UNLV in San Diego, Calif.
