STILLWATER -- A limited number of general admission tickets are available for Tuesday night's college basketball game between the eighth-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys and the No. 13 Memphis Tigers, it was announced this afternoon.
The general admission tickets are $20 and can be purchased either on-line by clicking here, by phone at (877) 255-4678 or at the OSU Athletic Ticket office on the northeast corner of Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Oklahoma State students who have purchased the All-Sports Ticket are also required to certify their ID in order to secure entrance to the Memphis game. AST holders can certify their ticket either on-line at the same address above, at the Student Union Information Desk or at the main ticket office in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
This will mark the first time that OSU has hosted a top-15 non-conference opponent while school was in session in nearly 25 years. The last time occurred when the Cowboys hosted No. 16 Memphis on Dec. 5, 1989. Oklahoma State hosted 10th-ranked Gonzaga last year during the semester break.
The matchup with Memphis will pair two of the nation's top backcourts against each other. The duo of preseason All-Big 12 selection Markel Brown and preseason All-American Marcus Smart start for the Cowboys, while Phil Forte and Stevie Clark are a high-powered one-two punch off the bench.
The Tigers feature seniors Chris Crawford, Joe Jackson and Geron Johnson, who all averaged double figures last season for a team that went 31-5. Joining that trio is Michael Dixon, who play three seasons at Missouri before transferring to Memphis.
Tipoff is set for 7 pm.
