Black Squad Squeaks Past Orange at H&H

Following the most exciting introduction video in school history, the Black team defeated the Orange squad 45-44 in a 15-minute scrimmage. Redshirt junior Brian Williams led all scorers with 16 points.
Junior Le'Bryan Nash added 11 points for the Black team, while senior Markel Brown recorded six points, six assists and four rebounds in a mostly offensive battle.
Sophomore Kamari Murphy led the Orange team with 14 points and also had a game-high eight rebounds. Sophomore Marcus Smart added eight points and had five assists, including some impressive alley-oop dunks. Redshirt junior Michael Cobbins added eight points for the Orange squad.
The Cowboys open the 2013-14 season on Sunday, Oct. 27, as OSU hosts Campbellsville (Ky) in an exibition game starting at 2 pm inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
