Cowboy Tennis Heads To Tulsa For ITA Regionals

Oklahoma State's men's tennis team will continue fall competition on Thursday in the ITA Central Region Championships at the University of Tulsa's Case Tennis Center.
The Cowboys will begin play in the tournament's qualifying round, with Brandon Champagne, Nathan Roper, Vasili Caripi, Matt Campbell and Trevor Horstmann making individual appearances.
Each will compete for eight qualifier spots and the chance to advance to the competition's main draw beginning on Friday. Both the singles main draw and doubles main draw will be released tomorrow before matches begin Friday.
Also appearing in the competition are members from several nearby schools, including the following: Arkansas, Arkansas State, Central Arkansas, Drake, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oral Roberts, Saint Louis, South Dakota State, Southern Illinois, Tulsa and Wichita State.
A win in either singles or doubles play would award the Cowboys with a spot in the 2013 USTA/ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships in Flushing, N.Y., in November.
