Cowboy Netters Head to Tulsa for Midweek Contest

STILLWATER, Okla. – The No. 75 Oklahoma State men's tennis team will travel to Tulsa on Wednesday to take on the No. 18 Golden Hurricane at 5 p.m. inside the Case Tennis Center.
The Cowboys are 7-9 on the year and are coming off of consecutive 5-2 losses to No. 25 Texas A&M and No. 13 Texas over the weekend to open conference play.
Chris Haworth has been impressive in his first season in Stillwater, as the freshman leads the Cowboys in singles competition with a 12-3 record and has won four-straight matches. Senior Eric West has also played well in his final season at OSU, compiling a singles record of 11-2.
The Golden Hurricane is 10-8 this season and coming off of a 5-2 home loss to No. 21 Oklahoma on March 27. Tulsa features three players in the nation rankings for singles play, as Japie De Klerk checks in at No. 83, Ashley Watling at No. 89 and Clifford Marsland at No. 93.
Marsland and Watling also combine to form the No. 4 doubles team in the country, bringing a 12-5 record into the match.
