Cowboy Tennis Opens Conference Play

STILLWATER, Okla. – The No. 75 Oklahoma State men's tennis team will open Big 12 competition this weekend when it travels to Texas for matchups against Texas A&M on Friday at 5 p.m. and Texas on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Cowboys enter the weekend's pair of contests with a 7-7 overall record, including wins in their previous two matches. They are coming off of a 6-1 victory against Creighton in their home opener on Sunday.
OSU is led in singles play by senior Eric West, who boasts a 10-1 record on the year. Freshman Chris Haworth has been impressive in his first year on campus, sporting a record of 10-3.
The Aggies enter the contest with a 10-8 record on the season and are ranked No. 25 in the country. A&M is coming off of a shutout victory against SMU on Sunday in College Station.
In singles competition, the Aggies feature No. 29 Alexis Klegou and No. 103 John Lewis, and in doubles they boast the duos of No. 30 Junior Ore and Jackson Withrow, as well as No. 76 Colin Hoover and John Lewis
The No. 13 Longhorns are 13-5 on the year and are coming off of a 6-0 victory against UT-Permian Basin last week in Austin.
Texas features No. 64 Soren Hess-Olesen and No. 97 Daniel Whitehead in singles play, as well as No. 27 Chris Camillone and David Holiner and No. 50 Ben Chen and Daniel Whitehead in doubles.
