Cowboy Tennis Hosts Creighton in Home Opener

STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma State men's tennis team will take on Creighton in its home opener on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the DeBois Tennis Complex in Stillwater.
The Cowboys improved to 6-7 this season after defeating Florida Atlantic, 4-3, in a road contest on Thursday. With the win, the Cowboys surpassed their win total from last season, when they went 5-14.
The Pokes are lead by senior Eric West and freshman Chris Haworth, who each will be vying for their 10th singles victories on the year against the Bluejays.
Creighton is 7-3 this season coming into the weekend, but will face off against Oral Roberts on Saturday before facing OSU on Sunday.
In singles action, the Bluejays are led by Kyle Obermeier and Billy Paluch, who each have eight wins. The duo of Sean Mathison and Ryan Norman leads the team with an 8-1 record in doubles competition.
